H&M Home Wish List

Thursday, 9 July 2015 ·

I think it's clear by this point that I really can't resist the opportunity to do a little virtual window shopping, especially for homeware bits and pieces. Lately I've been using the excuse of moving house in the not too distant future as an excuse and I'm loving putting together mood boards for each room!

I didn't really have too much of a plan in mind when I clicked onto the homeware section of the H&M site but in no time at all I'd filled my online basket and when I looked at it, it pretty much summed up how I want my living room! I'm planning on it being fairly neutral with a charcoal sofa and then pops of colour from soft furnishings etc. There are also going to be quite a lot of shelves either side of the chimney breast so there are quite a few bits which I think would look great up there!

Mirror, £14.99
In my opinion no room is complete without a mirror or two as it adds so much light  and can make the space seem much bigger which is crucial in a cosy London flat!

My candle obsession is well and truly out of control. I already have a cupboard full of ones I'm 'saving' for the move (crazy I know) but I can't resist. I love love love the grey and white geometric patterns on these ones!

We're desperately in need of some new crockery when we move and I can't get away from the idea of having mix matched bowls! The contrast between the teal (one of my favourite colours) and the pop of metallic around the rim is so beautiful.

Ceramic Plate, £6.99
Every blogger on the planet seems to own something from the marble collection at H&M but with good reason! Marble is so simple, understated and chic and I for one cannot wait to incorporate some into our new place. The real question is what would I actually use this for...?

Cacti appear pretty much everywhere throughout my flat, as does copper so why not combine the two!?

Candles and metallic combined, need I say more?

To add a pop of colour to our charcoal sofa we're going to have lots of brightly coloured cushions which we can switch around throughout the year and this mustard yellow one will be perfect!

Etsy Wish List

Monday, 16 March 2015 ·

I've always loved Etsy but a couple of weeks ago I went one step further and opened my own Etsy store, Fabietta Designs (see my post here). Since then I've been spending countless hours browsing through the incredible things being sold on there partly for research but more just because I can't resist beautiful handmade goodies! Here are some of my favourites so far...

Above is a stunning geometric pottery bowl incorporating two of my favourite colours - mint green and white! I need this in my life!

What bathroom doesn't need some adorable wall art? I love the natural look of the twine and hessian.

This is such a versatile, simple necklace and would look great as a pop of colour to a chic all black outfit!

Who can say no to some brightly coloured chevron washi tape? No one really needs it and yet we all want it.

This mini planter would look fantastic on my desk whenever I actually get round to getting one. It's clean and simple and you can't really go wrong with an air plant!

Monochrome is the one fashion trend that will never die and therefore a staple clutch like this is a must have in your wardrobe! Pair it with anything and you're guaranteed to look chic.

As a self confessed berry addict I'm not really sure how I don't already have some of these porcelain berry baskets

We all know how easy it is to break an iPhone and so a cover is pretty much compulsory unless you like the smashed glass look! So why not go with a beautiful wood print phone case like this one?

Gold accessories are a must have for any desktop and this giant paperclip desk organiser would look perfect next to my mini planter!

These pedestal tables would look perfect in my flat although I don't think I'd be able to decide if I should have them as side tables, stools or bedside tables!

These are just a few of my favourite things I've found on Etsy in the past week or  so, there are lots more here but I don't think my bank account would like it if I got them all!

Do you ever use Etsy? What are the best things you've bought from there?

Valentine's Wish List

Monday, 9 February 2015 ·

With Valentine's Day just around the corner it seemed an appropriate time for a last minute wish list, or perhaps just a subtle hint to my other half if he hasn't got anything yet... So keep reading if you have some last minute shopping to do for the weekend or you simply want to add to your own wish list.

I don't know about you but candles are always a winner for me, I permanently have at least one burning in my flat so I go through them faster than you would think possible! Jo Malone candles are renowned for being such great quality and the idea of this one, Wild Fig & Cassis, is one I can't get out of my head.

You can't go wrong with a cushion in my humble opinion. A couple of new cushions can completely change the look and feel of a room and this abstract print from Anthropologie is simply stunning!

You can't go into any homeware store at the moment without being inundated with copper pieces so of course I had to pick out my favourite! This Oliver Bonas copper wire letter would be a great addition to a mantle piece or book shelf.

This Aspinal travel wallet is the ultimate luxury accessory for anyone travel obsessed like me. With the perfect slot for everything from your passport to currency this is guaranteed to make sure you don't misplace anything on the way to the airport!

So jewellery is kind of a predictable Valentine's present but I couldn't not include this beauty - rose gold and sparkly - it ticks an awful lot of boxes! I'm going to be lusting after this for quite some time I think!

Whenever I go out with just a clutch I tend to just throw my cards into the side pocket and hope for the best - not an ideal purse solution.... This Betty Brice ruby leather card holder may just be the answer to all my problems. The perfect card holder or coin purse!

The Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Honey Bath is bubble bath at it's best! As it contains shea butter not only does it smell incredible but it also leaves your skin super smooth! Also how cute is the little honey stick it comes with??

Last but not least, Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. This is my favourite spring/summer fragrance as it's so light and fruity. This twist and spray version is perfect for throwing in your weekend bag on that upcoming romantic getaway...or perhaps just to pop in your handbag!

Window Shopping in Lush...

Saturday, 23 August 2014 ·

With my birthday coming up in just over a month I'm starting to do some window shopping to put together my 'birthday list' of bits and pieces I might like. Of course, with my obsession for Lush this was my first port of call especially seeing as I haven't bought anything from Lush since just after Christmas (although I did buy a ridiculous amount in the sale which I'm still working my way through)!

Anyway, let's jump into my current shopping basket on the Lush website, fingers crossed I can resist the temptation to pick anything up before my birthday - but now I have about 5 baths a week, I'm getting used to the prune fingers now, my stash is running low!

First up bath products, arguably what Lush do best in my opinion:
  1. Melomint
  2. Sakura
  3. Dreamtime
Body / skincare, something I've never really tried from Lush so I'm intrigued:
Now finally, lips:
Despite how much I love Lush, I only tend to buy things in the Christmas sale which lasts me for the year, so I'm starting to get the itch to venture out and try a few more of their products.

I'd love it if you guys told me what your favourite Lush product(s) is/are so I can extend my shopping list!

Weekend Wish List #1

Saturday, 8 March 2014 ·

The weather has been so beautiful for the past few days I couldn't help but start subconsciously putting together a little shopping list of things that I want to for spring time. Everyone needs to inject a little bit of colour and excitement into their wardrobe at this time of year don't they?

1. Gold 'Lovely Knot Bangle' from Forever 21. I absolutely love this. It's so simple and striking plus I absolutely love gold jewellery especially in spring time. This would be the perfect finishing touch to any outfit! (RRP £5.65)

2. J Crew Matte Leather Belt in mint green. This is my absolute favourite colour - I think it's so sophisticated and goes with so many other colours. I'm in need of a new leather belt so I might buy this in the coming weeks as I just think it's beautiful. (RRP £34.50)

3. New Look 'Stone and Pink Colour Block Winged Tote Bag'. Over the last few weeks I've become a little obsessed with the Michael Kors Winged Totes but I have to admit as much as I love the Michael Kors ones, I just love the pop of colour with the pink on this one. My wardrobe lately has been a little muted so this would provide a much needed injection of colour and for £29.99 it's hard to say no!

4. YSL Glossy Stain in Pink Coral. I've been lusting after the YSL Glossy Stain's for months now and want pretty much every colour but with spring just around the corner I think this pink coral colour will be perfect for the upcoming warmer months (RRP £23.50)

5. J Crew 'Pattern-Block Wallet Case for iPhone 4/4S'. I'm forever on the hunt for new iPhone cases as it's nice to mix it up a little bit every now and then isn't it? I think this one from J Crew is great as you can keep your debit card, Oyster card etc in the inside cover so it's ideal for when you need to dash out to the shops but don't want to take your whole bag! (RRP £34.50)

6. Essie 'Lilacism'. As you know from my previous post about Orly Rubberised Base Coat I love me some nail polish and recently I've been on the lookout for some new spring nail polishes. Is this not the prettiest lilac/blue colour for the upcoming months? I can't wait to pop into Boots to pick it up myself. (RRP £7.99)

I've really enjoyed putting this post together - who doesn't like an excuse for a little window shopping!? Let me know if you'd like more posts like this in the future! For more information about any of my latest favs head over to my Luvocracy page
